Private Supervisory / Consultant Sessions

Over the years I have supervised large numbers of people who wish to gain accreditation in AAMFT.

AAMFT allows that two supervisees  to share an hour.  The fee is $160 an hour split between two people.  Or supervision can be done individually.  If you can find a colleague then this makes for a different but mutually enriching experience of supervision.

On  occasion I have been hired by a therapy clinic to provide supervisory services for fully qualified psychotherapists.  In these settings I provide educational experiences and group supervision designed around the particular needs of that clinic.

In today’s therapy world if you are a solo practitioner it can be of huge value to you to do some consultancy with me around cases that are particularly challenging. It is a deduction against your practice income and a form of Continuing Education. Over the years I have always belonged to a peer group for supervisory discussion and from time to time have sought the services of a supervisor myself in order to consult on my own cases.

I have also been asked to help resolve disputes in large institutions .

Ann provided clinical supervision to a counselling clinic I worked in and was an invaluable resource in my development as a therapist. Her insight through both individual and group supervision helped me gain the confidence and wisdom necessary to develop into a seasoned therapist. Her gentle but clear direction continues to be a guiding voice in my practice today.

Ann has been an integral part of my development as a therapist for the last thirty four years. As a supervisor, Ann offers decades of experience with clients and supervisees, a holistic approach to helping and healing, an awareness of the influence of family of origin experiences in human development, a keen sense of curiosity that respects individual differences, and a generous spirit. In my experience of Ann, she is always keen to dive deeply into the cases I have presented in supervision and the outcome has been helpful to both the growth of my clients and myself. Ann is a woman of spiritual depth who is wise guide through the valleys of human suffering.

Ann is a thoughtful, intelligent and knowledgeable supervisor.  Her experience and versatile expertise allowed me to gain deeper insight into my clients’ issues.  She motivated me to conceptualize people from different perspectives and many viewpoints which leads to a more accurate and richer understanding of clients .  As a consequent, it led to more meaningful interventions.  Thank you Ann, for your wisdom and insights!
